Tulips once again

tisdag 22 februari 2011

Hi, this is going to be a quick post.
I am back with another try for Less is More,  and by that I mean a try of this "clean and simple" technique.
I used the sweet tulips once again because the theme is "Spring".
They look great on my card, and I coloured them with copics and a little Twinklings.
If you look properly, it may appear that the flowers have little clear embossingpowder on themselves.
I hope it can be seen in the pictures.
The card is suitable for someone's birthday this Spring time, and even for Timeless Tuesdays challenge "Birthday Card".
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Birthday Whishes

Hope you like it and thanks for looking!
Hugs, Birgit.

Spring is round the corner

fredag 18 februari 2011

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week.
Today I have a card to share that I made for Card Patterns, I used their sketch.
I realy liked it, and the sentiment is from Create whith TLC.
At Phindy´s Place the theme is "Spring is on the way", and I do agree. So I used the lovely colored papers from Pion Design - Sagan om våren" and Maja Design "Ska vi ta en fika".
This time I let the sentiment to be used as the main focal point of my card,
as they want over at Allsorts Challenge Blog.
No Spring whithout a butterfly, and fortunately, one sweet little one sat down in the corner.

And some other challenges where I think my card can participate is:
Bonny Zoes Craft - Spring....Flowers Everywhere
Fluorishes Timeless Tuesday - Thee Pattern Papers
Top Tip Tuesday - All Stitched Up
Everybody Art Challenge - 3 Papers, 3 Flowers and Option Ribbons
Alota Rubber Stamps - Nestabilities ( Eyelet Circles)

As I told you yesterday, I'll soon be back again.
Here I am with something totaly different. Over at The Shabby Tea Room they have a theme this week of "Keeping Warm". And what fits better this season when it´s cold and winter outside.
I have used my teddybears once again (you´ve seen them before).
Today, they have crawled into this pocket to keep warm and cosy.

And they can come up just when they want ...

Stamp: Suzys Zoo
Sentiment: Create with TLC
Papers: Cs, Prima Marketing - Pastiche Collection
Flowers and Bling: From my stash

I also want to participate in the challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown where
you have to incorporate a pocket into your artwork.

Simple Flower

tisdag 15 februari 2011

Welcome friends!
Happy to see you back.
It´s time to make a one layer card, with a theme of a Flower or a Tree,
at Less Is More this week.
Unfortunately, I have no tree stamps, so it had to be one simple flower.

I could not resist this beautiful flowers to the inside.

It´s very simple this card i know, hope you like it anyhow.
This card is also for Saturday Challenge - A Stamped Flower.

I'll soon be back again with something else, until then...
Have a nice day.
Hugs, Birgit.

Less is more

onsdag 9 februari 2011

Hi, every happy friend!
The entire blogosphere is flooded with valentine cards right now, so I thought it was wonderful to do a different (for me) card to the new challenge blog "Less is More".
The first challenge is about Pink, Black and White.
I think myself  that the reflection, of the circle with the text, is really good.
And that's the most important thing, that I like it. But I hope someone else do it also.
I took some pictures but they got so bad that I had to delete them,
and try again when it became a bit brighter outside.
Here it is:

This is not good photographs either...sigh!

The inside...

I could not find so many other challenges where my card could fit,
only Pear Tree Design where it´s "Free For All"

Size: 17 x 13 cm.
Papers: Cardstock
Ink.: Distress Ink -Spun sugar
Embellies: Half pearls, Flowers

Hugs, Birgit.
