Christmas Preparations

söndag 30 november 2014

Hi there!
I´m back again with a new Christmas card that I have made with wonderful old papers that I found in my stash. It´s unknown where the image comes from but the background papers are from Echo Park.

I love the vintage feel and all the green. I cut out the upper branches and the wreath with dies from Memory Box, Pine Needle Border and Frostyville Wreath.
I made two quite similar when I was on the go, the second card I show you tomorrow.
I hope you all have great weekend!

Sprinkle A Little Fairy Magic

onsdag 26 november 2014

Hello, thanks for stopping by today!
I have made another folded card with the Enchanted Christmas papers from Papermania. It feels fun with some other colors and styles for Christmas, right now there is almost only cards in vintage and traditional Christmas colors on the blogs.

I used sentiment stamps from Inkido and K-designs, the tree on the little tag was made with a Reprint stamp.

I had a bit of a left-over Pine Needle Border die cut from Memory Box that I added.

 That´s it for today!

Christmas Gift Box

måndag 24 november 2014

Hello friends!
I had so much fun the other day when I altered a box that I have saved. I hope to give it away for Christmas:)

First I used papers from Wild Rose Studio the Holly Lane paper pack to the sides.

Next I stamped Ornately Merry from Penny Black in Cherry red ink and cut it out. Then I used the Glowing Candles die from memory Box both in white and patterned leftover paper pieces to fit into the candles.

I also added a little red and Platinum Stickles to the die cut. The sentiment was made with a die from Mandys.

Then I added lace, flowers and different leaves together with a punched out snowflake that I sprinkled with glitter.

Here is the box when it is open, I have thought to write a greeting in the box gable.
That´s it for today. Thank you so much for coming by to check it out.

For You

fredag 21 november 2014

Hi everyone!
It's hard to believe how fast the weeks running away ... soon it's the first Sunday of Advent already!! I'm trying to work on with my Christmas cards and here is one more I want to show you.

I started with one Wild Rose Studio stamp that I colored with my Copics, and papers from Maja Design the "A Gift For You" collection.

I made the background with watercolors, added some Glossy Accent and glitter. Then I heated in Stampendous Shabby White embossing pouder around the image edges.

The cones are made with a Memory Box Pinecone Frame die cut that I used as stencil together with embossing paste, Old Silver embossing pouder and Red Crushed Glass Glitter from Stampendous.

I stamped the sentiments from K-designs under the image and on a piece of vellum that I gold heat embossed. And that´s it I think.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Enchanted Christmas

tisdag 18 november 2014

Hello and welcome back!
The other day I tried to make some order among my old Christmas papers and then I found a pack of beautiful glittery images from Papermania "Enchanted Christmas", I can´t understand why I havn´t used them before.

And just because they are so beautiful I didn´t want to destroy them with a lot of embellishments, at least not to the largest images. Here I just added a little Merry Christmas stamp.

And at the back, I used another of the images, one where Santa goes out.

Very easily done...have a great day!

Santa Christmas Tree

söndag 16 november 2014

Hi there!
I hope you smile a little bit about this card, because I do :) I got inspired when I saw this picture in my mailbox the other day.

My spruce seems to be a little kinder, not quite so crazy, I do not want to scare the kids at Christmas:) I used watercolors for the background and the Memory Box Frosted Christmas Tree die.

The Merry Christmas sentiment was made with a die from Mandys and the hood is made of cheesecloth which I colored in with Distress ink.
That´s it for today. Hope you had a nice weekend!

Small Christmas Cards

fredag 14 november 2014

Hey there everyone!
I showing you a pair of small Christmas card or gift addresses today. There is space to write a greeting inside.

I've kept them pretty simple, but that's because the images from Reprint fits so well with these cards. The inside stamp is from Inkido.

Here with me it's really gray and gloomy weather right now, I long for Advent and some beautiful lights.
Anyway...thank you so much for coming by my blog!

A Jar Full Of Candy

lördag 1 november 2014

Hello friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. And what is this that I show then? Well, it´s a jar full of candy that I´m going to give to a special person this weekend.

Here where I live you can buy candy and pick up what you want to have in bags or candy jars. I wanted my jar would get a more personal look and it felt right with an autumn theme ... so here it is.

First I painted it with Gesso and a thin layer gold Acrylic paint.

I made the bow from some scrap paper, then I went loose with a bunch of flowers on top.

The firs was cut out with Memory Box frosted Christmas Trio die.

The leaves was made by first cuting them out from Distress inked papers with a couple of different dies. Then crumple them a little bit and give them a thick layer of clear embossing pouder and heat in.

I love the leaves:) I finished of with a piece of washi tape at the bottom and some red pearls to resemble red berries (cranberries maybe).
That´s it for today. Have a great weekend!
